He didn't just leave me, he pushed me away then left...

Li You nodded: "Grandpa and Grandma took me horseback riding at a farm, and we even went fishing in a canyon stream. Dad even reserved a horse for you, so next time you'll come and we can ride together."

After saying his peace, the little guy then looked at Li Tina and stuck out his tongue. It was hard to tell if it was deliberate of not.

At first, when the rumours began making the rounds in their neighbourhood, Zhang Dong was indeed immensely happy in secret, and his depressed mood had been greatly brightened. But as time went on, Zhang Dong woke up and realised the trouble his actions would bring him. Qianhua was one of the top listed companies on the stock market, and the salaries and benefits of this company was incomparable to others. And the leading role of this smear campaign of his was non other than this company's boss! Once his involvement is discovered, something as simple as unemployment will be the least of his troubles. If those two hold a grudge against him, he might not be able to stay in the industry... just the thought of it made him shudder.

Because of these simple words of Li Tian alone, the psychological pressure on Zhang Dong was great. Not only was he was overcome with guilt, he was still forced to go on blind dates at home. He could not eat, he couldn't drink—his spirit had waned. So not long after he had returned home he fell ill.

Li Tian pouted, saying: "You little mute..." Just look at you acting all proud.

Walking out with Xiao Yan in his arms, Li Tian, seeing Zhang Dong approaching, smiled and greeted him. "Zhang-ge, did you just get off work?" Zhang Dong was older than Li Tian by a few months, so him politely calling Zhang Dong '-ge' was no mistake.

The more he thought about it, the more frightened he got. The contentment and secret joy he had felt at the start had gradually grew into invisible shackles, causing his psychological burden to grow all the more heavy. At the company, when he saw Xiao Huaisu he turned tail and fled.

Li Tian did not turn back though, a light chuckle escaping him, as he lowered his eyes to pinch Xiao Yan's nose. "Oh, nothing—as long as you have a clear conscience." Hearing him say this made Xiao Yan squeal.

Xiao Huaisu had returned from France, and of course upon knowing about what happened he thought about firing Zhang Dong directly, he also had no interest in facing that guy either. But Li Tian had stopped him.

In the neighbourhood, when he say Li Tian chatting with the aunts without a care, as if nothing had happened, he froze up involuntarily. But at the same time, he felt bitter. How can he just act as though nothing had happened, while I have to endure so much torment and have no way to ignore all the eyes on me?

Li Tian's heart was in shatters. Like a resentful wife he looked at his son's retreating back. You have no conscience!

Li Tian was physically and mentally wound by that push, so lifting Xiao Yan away he tapped a finger to his forehead and scolded: "How can you be so heartless, huh? During all this time at home, didn't I always feed you, nap with you, and play with you? Yet you turned and pushed me away." Seeing Xiao Yan mouth curl up as if he was going to cry. The small little face looking as if he had been wronged, was enough to break a person's heart.

Bending down to take Li You into his arms, Li Tian blew a raspberry into her cheeks, replying: "How could I not miss my little Youyou? Did you have fun over there?"

Xiao Huaisu reached out: "Yanyan, come, let daddy hold you."

Xiao Yan turned around, his long lashes fluttering as they blinked, his head lifting to look at LiTian before flinging himself into Li Tian's arms. But just as Li Tian was planning to feel proud, Xiao Yan, without a hint of hesitation, pushed Li Tian away before turning then tottering towards Xiao Huaisu.

Zhang Dong did his best to make his expression look normal, forcing out a grin as he greeted Li Tian in return, his gaze falling on Xiao Yan snuggled in Li Tian's arms. Looking at that child, his expression softened. He couldn't help but think that if Xiao Lin had ever found out about him, that perhaps his child would be about that big.

A Family of Four

Xiao Huaisu took him from Li Tian and coaxed him and rubbed the little red spot on his forehead. Smiling he said to Li Tian: "Hey, don't take advantage of when I'm not here to bully him, he's small. Are you going to act like a kid too?"

Watching Li Tian's expression, Zhang Dong breathed a sigh of relief. It looks as though he doesn't suspect it was me.

"Do you think he has gone insane?! Nothing he has done in the past two years has made me happy!"

Just as the two finished greeting one another and were about to pass each other by, Lu Tian suddenly said from beside him: "Was it you?" Saying this, Li Tian kept waking ahead.

"Don't do anything to him first, he's a coward. If we he knows that we know he did it, he'll be frightened to death. So leave him alone and leave it to me."

When Li You came back from looking at the flowers she planted in the garden, she noticed her dad looked upset and so threw herself into his arms with a giggle, hugging his waist as she asked: "Dad, did you miss me?"

Zhang Dong stiffened, his body snapping around as he called out to Li Tian: "What—did you just say? I didn't understand." He hadn't even realised his voice was trembling.

He took a few days off from the company, but after he had gotten sick, he didn't dare go there directly and secretly handed in his resignation. This action of his pissed off his mother even further. And how did Li Tian know that Huo Lan was angry, you ask? Well, that was because Lee Moli was the one Huo Lan found to pour out all he grievances to, and Li Tian got to hear a lot.

The instant Xiao Yan fell into Xiao Huaisu's arms he looked like he found a backer and and the cries leaving his mouth sounded more like complaints.

Because Xiao Yan was mostly looked after by Xiao Huaisu and his Lee Moli during his first few months, whenever that lil guy started crying and he had no idea what to do, he handed the little bundle off to Xiao Huaisu. So, because of this, Xiao Yan was pretty attached to Xiao Huaisu.

As soon as L Tian was done talking, Xiao Yan seemed to be in agreement, and clapped his chubby little hands.

Lee Moli smiled and said a few comforting words to her. But Huo Lan was still lost in her own blabbering so she only got more and more angry. "I can't live these days, I can't live at all!"

Li Tian was physically and mentally wound by that push, so lifting Xiao Yan away he tapped a finger to his forehead and scolded: "How can you be so heartless, huh? It had already been a long time since Xiao Huaisu had seen his son. He had left for France this time and had only taken Li You. But it wasn't said clearly, and the two adults could only guess those were his words, because all the little boy could sat clearly was the words dada. Seeing him smiling simply and just about to throw himself on his father, the boy was suddenly intercepted.
